"With this book you'll never again have a bored kid or a bored dog! Kids love following the step-by-step photos and have confidence by seeing real kids their own age in the photos. The tricks and games are brilliantly constructed in a way that is achievable for most. Picking daily games out of this book is the favorite part of the day for our dog training campers!"-Dana Brillante, Animal Training Adventure Kids Summer Camp I'm so excited to show you my new book! My original book, 101 Dog Tricks, has been incredibly well received with over a half-million copies in print worldwide. Kids love that book, however I noticed that they would invariably pick out the flashiest tricks to try to teach their dog (tricks like "fetch a soda from the fridge"). Needless to say, they weren't very successful.          Through teaching 4H programs I was inspired to write a version of my book tailored especially for kids; a book with simple tricks, games, and crafts that kids and dogs could actually be successful at. I brought some kids to the photo studio, showed them how to train a dog, and 5 minutes later we captured the process in photos. The result was sensational-- because it was real! Kids are intrigued by photos of other kids. With this book, kids can self-direct and study and mimic the step-by-step photos. It makes it easy for them to be successful! Happy training!

Yes, kids can train dogs! With over a half-million copies in print, the original 101 Dog Tricks is a proven success. Now, 101 Dog Tricks: Kids Edition brings you the same successful methods, tailored especially for kids. This book features full color step-by-step photos of every trick, making it easy to follow along. Real kids are featured in the photos, actually training dogs-- you can do it too! Many tricks are simple enough that your dog can learn them in ten minutes.
Teach fun tricks like ride in a wagon, dog bowling, guess which hand, turn on a tap light, roll a soccer ball, close the door, touch my hand, and jump through a hoop. This book also includes tons of arts and crafts projects to do and make with your dog, like pawpainting, crinkle dog toy, doggy doorbell, duct tape treat bag, messenger collar pouch, dog walking depot, no-sew dog bed, and kibble run game. No power tools needed to build a duffle jump, balance beam, and even build a dog teeter totter. [Ages 5 and up]  Teach 15 tricks and your dog can earn his official Trick Dog Title certificate. You can do it!

Not a well made book I ordered a copy of this book to give as a gift. Unfortunately, it's impossible to flip the pages. It looks like when the book was produced, about half of the pages were left stuck together at the bottom. If I were buying the book for myself, I would consider taking the time to cut the pages apart with an exacto knife. It's just not going to work as a gift, though.I liked the kids version much better I am an adult and purchased both books, the kids version (this one) and the regular version. I liked the kids version much better. It also had fun to-do items with my grandkids. The teaching was easy on me and fun on my puppy. He's a genius. Border Collie Rocket Dog loves to keep busy and learn new tricks.Great book! This is a great book! I purchased this for my 9 year old. The tricks are simple and well detailed steps.
